1. Chat Feature
1Core has come up with a new chat feature for childcare center Location Directors, Classroom Users, and Parents. 1Core has linked 1Core Class and 1Core Family app for the chat services. So the childcare staff and parents can engage in active dialogue with each other regarding the children's welfare and progress.
2. Enabling the Chat Feature at Company Level
Chat feature can be enabled or disabled for the Center Directors using the company level 'User Management' option. 
3. 1Core Class - Location Director Role
1Core Class is the mobile app for childcare staff and Location Directors. Using this app, classroom users and location directors of a childcare center can interact with the parents.

The childcare center director can directly message the parents of enrolled children using the 'My Messages' section.
The Childcare center director will have the access to the classroom messages. The classroom messages section will have the conversation that happened between the parents and classroom users of different classrooms.
But the Childcare center director will not be able to participate in the conversation in the classroom messages section, he can only view the conversations taken place between parents and classroom users.
The center director can also send messages to the parents by accessing the child's profile from the classroom list.
When you are working on any other screen than the Messages screen, you will receive a push notification for any new incoming messages.
While you are on the 'Messages' screen, any new incoming message will be alerted along with the alert tone set in the mobile. No push notification will be displayed in this scenario.
4. 1Core Class - Classroom User
Chat feature for the 1Core Class - classroom user is similar to the Location Director. But the classroom users can only engage in conversation with the parents of the children, who are all enrolled under the classroom user's assigned classrooms.
After selecting the profile, you will be taken to the message editor page from where you can send texts to the selected parents.
When you are working on any other screen than the Messages screen, you will receive a push notification for any new incoming messages.
While you are on the 'Messages' screen, any new incoming message will be alerted along with the alert tone set in the mobile. No push notification will be displayed in this scenario
5. 1Core Family
It is very vital that parents and childcare centers communicate with each other on various levels to ensure the child's safety and progress.
Parents can send messages to the classroom users and childcare center directors directly by using their 1Core Family app.
Selecting the 'Messages' option will take you to the chat conversation page.
On the contacts page, you can view the Location Director (s) profile, details of the classroom user(s).
Selecting a profile from the contacts section will take you to the message editor page, from where you can send a message to the selected person.
When you are working on any other screen than the Messages screen, you will receive a push notification for any new incoming messages.
While you are on the 'Messages' screen, any new incoming message will be alerted along with the alert tone set in the mobile. No push notification will be displayed in this scenario.
